Connect the GitHub account with access to the repositories your workflow needs.
Read GitHub OAuth guidance →Pair a GitHub repository with the Aqtos project where review work belongs.
See the mapping steps →Map GitHub identities to Aqtos users for review task assignment.
Configure people mappings →In Aqtos, go to Tech → Integrations → GitHub → Configure. Use OAuth Integration to authorize repository access with the appropriate GitHub account.
Check the requested access and any organization approval requirements in GitHub. Continue with the repositories needed for your team’s work.
Under Repositories & projects, select a GitHub repository and an Aqtos project. Choose Save mapping and confirm the pairing appears in the mappings list.
Under People, match the relevant GitHub users to their Aqtos accounts. This tells the review workflow who the corresponding colleague is.
Use a small review example in a mapped repository. Check that the resulting work reaches the right Aqtos project and person before expanding to more repositories.
Check the connected GitHub account’s repository access and whether the organization requires OAuth app approval. Revisit authorization with your GitHub administrator if necessary.
Check both mappings: the repository should point to the intended project, and the GitHub user should match the right Aqtos colleague.
Do not treat repository authorization as a full historical issue import. Confirm the events and records needed for your workflow with Aqtos before planning a migration.
GitHub remains the place for your repositories and development workflow. The connection brings the relevant project work into Aqtos.
Use a real project to see how Aqtos connects work, people and money. Need help with a particular workflow? Bring it to a demo.
